About Department

The College offers a two year (Full time), regular MBA Program, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore from 2005 with 180 Seats every Academic year. Senior positions in business involve responsibilities that need good functional understanding of management of human resources and financial resources. These resources need to be utilized in a competitive market with the best operational efficiency. An MBA helps develop a fundamental understanding of such knowledge across domains like human resources, finance, marketing, operations and information technology that is not normally received from any single focused undergraduate degree programme. Acquiring an MBA is a process filled with learning new skills, studying methodologies and discussing industries that provide employment opportunities. The department has an exclusive facility which is endowed with excellent infrastructure and a dedicated team of faculty members to train the students to meet the growing needs of the society. The department organizes a number of programmes to expose the students to the corporate world.

Courses Description

The theoretical inputs delivered to the MBA students by the departments core faculty and practicing executives are supported by On the job training, Out-bound training, National & International Industrial Visits, CEO meets, Guest Lectures, Student Development Programs, Entrepreneurship Development Program, Management Games, In-basket exercises, Case studies, Newspaper reviews, faculty Interactions, Curriculum based Extension activity, Debates and Project works. This judicious mix gives our programme a practical outlook & an edge over others & gives a first-hand knowledge of organizational life. "Executive Interaction Programmes", where top-level executives share their managerial experience.

Goals & Objectives

  • To build in the skills necessary for the potential managers in all the functional areas of management and to create an exposure to the latest management concepts and mould the personality of the young minds to inculcate good business practice.
