The Department of Electronics and Communication Systems was started in the year 2004. Programme Description

B.Sc Electronics and Communication Systems is a professional program which needs to develop a specialized skill set among the graduates to cater the need of industries. In latest years, Electronics has made extraordinary growth in terms of new technologies, new ideas and principles. The research organizations and industries that work in this frontier area are in need of highly skilled and scientifically oriented manpower. This manpower can be available only with flexible, adaptive and progressive training programs and a cohesive interaction among the research organizations, academicians and industries. Electronics and Communication Systems deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipment’s like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression.  It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communication field.
